Both have existed for thousands of years, evolving in form and technique while continuing to enrich our lives.

Re-End is a bookstand made from discarded books and dark brown blown glass. The uneven surface of the book gives each piece a distinctive form, while the deep color of the glass recalls the aged pages of old books.

When illuminated, the glass casts a gentle shadow, suggesting that the knowledge and stories once held within the book continue to exist in another form.

Through glass and the traditional technique of glassblowing,
an old object is given a new function—
carrying its memories into a new form.
