Masyl is a piece of “Growing Furniture” made from wood and mycelium.

The wood establishes the form and initial strength of the furniture, while mycelium is introduced into its interior, growing along the wooden structure and gradually filling its spaces.

ABOUT.

SIZE.

25 x 30 x 45 cm

As the two materials develop together, each compensates for the weaknesses of the other, creating a new form of structural symbiosis.

Inspired by the natural relationship between trees and fungi, Masyl reinterprets this symbiosis through furniture.

Rather than defining a finished form from the beginning,
it explores how form can emerge
through coexistence and growth.
