When light touches the black circle,
its silhouette emerges in space,
evoking the fleeting phenomenon of a solar eclipse.
Inspired by the restaurant's name, "Nichigetsu" (Sun and Moon), these two light fixtures—one white and one black—symbolize the sun and the moon.
The glass is shaped using a combination of glassblowing and centrifugal force, creating a perfectly balanced, circular form. When paired with a minimalist stainless steel base, the design brings both warmth and sophistication to the space.
